Who We Are
LIFTED ("we", "us", "our") operates the care coordination platform at lifted-withlove.com and the LIFTED Concierge browser extension. Our mission is to organize practical support — meals, groceries, rides, and financial help — for people during challenging life moments.
What Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to coordinate care delivery:
- Recipient information: Name, email, phone number, delivery address, dietary needs, and allergies — provided by the recipient or their care circle members.
- Giver information: Name, email, and payment details for Love Fund contributions, processed securely through Stripe.
- Order information: Items requested, vendor selections, order confirmations, delivery details, and fulfillment status.
- Product preference data: Items ordered, brand preferences, and substitution patterns used to improve our SmartMatch product selection algorithm.
LIFTED Concierge Extension
The LIFTED Concierge browser extension is used by authorized Love Agents to fulfill care requests. The extension:
- Reads product information, prices, and cart contents on vendor websites (Instacart, Magic Kitchen, Uber Central) to automate order fulfillment.
- Stores order queue data and shopping progress locally in the browser using chrome.storage.
- Sends order completion data (items purchased, prices, substitutions) to the LIFTED platform to track fulfillment and improve product matching.
- Does not collect browsing history, personal communications, or any data unrelated to order fulfillment.
- Does not run on any websites other than the specific vendor sites listed in the extension manifest.
How We Use Information
- To coordinate and fulfill care requests (meals, groceries, rides) on behalf of recipients.
- To process payments and manage Love Fund contributions via Stripe.
- To improve our SmartMatch algorithm — learning which products recipients prefer so future orders are more accurate.
- To send transactional notifications (order confirmations, delivery updates) via email or SMS.
- To provide care circle members with activity updates and contribution summaries.
How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary to fulfill care requests:
- Vendor platforms (Instacart, Magic Kitchen, Uber) receive recipient delivery details to complete orders.
- Stripe processes payment information. We never store full credit card numbers.
- Twilio delivers SMS ride notifications to recipients.
- Care circle members see activity relevant to their circle, subject to the recipient's privacy settings.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
Data Retention
We retain account and order data for as long as a care circle is active. Recipients can request deletion of their data by contacting us. Inactive community fund balances are swept after 90 days per our fund management policy.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email.
